Easter Concert - Provo Tabernacle

Cynthia with the Nebo Chorale before their Easter Performance

Nebo Chorale

Last night the Nebo Chorale performed, with three other choirs, at the Provo Tabernacle to celebrate the Easter season. The other choirs were a childrens choir, choir from Orem Institute and a choir from Payson. Cynthia has enjoyed singing in the choir for the last 8 to 9 months. This was their second performance since she started in the choir last year. The performance started with all four choirs singing followed by the Nebo Chorale. Each choir sang 3 songs and then sang together for the very last song of the night. In between the second and third and third and fourth choirs the organist for the evening played a solo. The Provo Tabernacle was built in 1898 and is a beautiful building. The acoustics were just awesome. Each choir had a significant style so it was very nice to hear the variety. When they sang together it seriously sounded like angels from heaven. The goosebumps were happening. It was a great way to celebrate Good Friday.
The children's choir and the Orem Institute choir had a soloist during one of their songs but it was the children's choir soloist, Camille (maybe 14 or 15), who stands out in my mind more. The song they sang and the way she sang you would swear they had turned back time 100 years.
I am very proud of Cynthia and the way she has continued to work and enjoyed choir. You can see the work and effort that is put in by each choir member and their conductor Rick Lunt. I have always loved listening to Cynthia sing and even with 30 or more around her I could still pick out her voice.
I would like to thank Gary and Maria Hatch, John and Anna Standage, Hugh, Laura, Bryson, McKenna and Joshua Black and Alyssa, Bradley and Isabella for supporting Cynthia by attending the performace. It truely was an inspirational and uplifting evening.
All choirs received a standing ovation.

How fun! I didn't know you were in the Nebo Chorale Cynthia. Send me your email address and I'll send you an invite to our blog (I made it private a few months ago). lisa@bugaboopark.com
